Poseidon is known as the god of the sea so water represent him.
One of his abilitiesis that he is able to cause storms and people to be ship wrecked if they're out traveling.
He also has the ability to make different kinds of creations. But usually all of them are hideious and look really mean.
This is a trident. Its what makes Poseidon have the abilitly to make a creature and to cause storms.
